My Story

In April 2025, I ran the London Marathon to help raise money and awareness for Sarcoma UK. In May 2023, my younger sister, Isobel was diagnosed with Sarcoma at age just 19. This come as a huge shock to all of our family and friends, however her strength and courage throughout her treatment inspired us all. Isobel sadly lost her battle on 2nd April 2025, 3 weeks before the marathon. Sarcoma is a very rare and sometimes hard to treat type of cancer. Which is why I want to help raise as much as possible to help with all future and ongoing research. Isobel is my hero, her positive attitude and bravery was unmatched during her nearly two year fight.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this.

Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:

£15 Could fund 30 minutes use of a high-powered laboratory microscope. Sarcoma researchers use microscopes to study cells and tissue in great detail.
£216 Could fund Sarcoma UK's specialist Support Line for a day.
£2,000 Could fund whole genome sequencing of one sample from a sarcoma tumour, helping us to understand in greater detail why the cancer cells behave the way they do, and how we might target this with new treatments.

Thank you for helping me make an impact.
