Support a special place
Overgate Hospice in Elland is an exceptionally special place that does amazing work in caring for people towards the end of their lives, as well as supporting their friends, families and loved ones.
Founded in the 1970s, it has been at the heart of Calderdale's community for years, and whilst Overgate is blessed with amazing and committed staff and the support of a brilliant community around it, the growing need for help and care that they already provide to 250 families each year means they must expand.
That’s why in April 2025 I’ll be running the iconic London Marathon to give back to the community I love and to help raise funds for Overgate's fantastic Big Build Appeal, which will provide modern hospice facilities where they can continue providing comfort, dignity, and support to people when they need it most.
