My Story

I am running the TCS London Marathon on behalf of Launchpad Reading, a homelessness prevention charity.

Launchpad offer a holistic approach to preventing homelessness across the Reading area, offering support, advice and housing for some of the most vulnerable members of the community. I believe local, on-the-ground action is critical to helping those in need, and am proud to support Launchpad in doing so here in the UK.

Any donation that you make to the charity will help Launchpad continue to offer free, confidential drop-in services, floating support officers, supported housing provisions, and sustain Launchpad 135, a life and work skills centre.

Below are some examples of how your donations can support Launchpad and the Reading community:

£10 could help pay for urgent support at our free drop-in service so an individual in housing crisis can get the help they desperately need

£50 can help pay for one hour of legal advice for a couple who have been threatened with eviction

£140 can help fund four therapy sessions for a client whose poor mental health has left them with spiralling debt and at risk of homelessness

£254 can help fund the costs of moving a family experiencing poverty into affordable accommodation

Thank you so much for supporting me and supporting Launchpad's cause! 26.2 miles here we come!
