Lewis runs for the Sailors Society
Lewis James McNeil
My Story
I am thrilled to announce that, with the backing of Songa Shipmanagement Ltd, I will be running the 2025 London Marathon in support of the Sailors' Society, an organization that provides invaluable resources for Seafarers and their families. As a passionate advocate for the welfare of seafarers, I believe in the vital work they do to provide support, care, and community for those who dedicate their lives to keeping our global trade moving.
The Sailors' Society offers essential services, including mental health support, crisis assistance, and practical help for mariners and their families. Having seen the challenges faced by those in the maritime industry, I am committed to raising awareness and funds for this incredible cause.
Training for a marathon is both a physical and mental challenge, but each step I take brings me closer to supporting the sailors who face even greater challenges at sea. I am running not just for myself, but for the brave individuals who make tremendous sacrifices away from home.
Please join me in making a difference by donating to my fundraising campaign. Together, we can ensure that no sailor has to face their struggles alone.
Thank you for your support!
