My Story

Hi everyone! 👋

I wasn't sure if I’d ever take on a marathon, especially a full one, but nevertheless i thought why not and jump straight into the deep end for the London Marathon! Initially i thought I’d aim for a half, but why not go the full distance, right?

As I train, I’m also raising what i can for the TOF charity, who provide vital support for those born with Tracheoesophageal Fistula (TOF). This is a condition my son was born with two years ago, and we’ve experienced firsthand the challenges that come with it.

Tracheoesophageal fistula is a life-threatening birth defect where the esophagus and trachea are abnormally connected. This connection can cause food and liquids to be inhaled into the lungs, leading to aspiration and making breathing an arduous task.
