My Story

I have decided to run the London Marathon in 2025 to raise money for the Sailor's Society, a charity that has for 2 centuries provided vital support to the world's seafarers that make global trade happen at huge personal sacrifice.

Before entering the maritime industry 14 years ago I was not aware of the issues that seafarers face day to day and the time spent away from family to ensure we all have food to eat/ cars to drive etc... The Sailors’ Society have been instrumental in ensuring that conditions for seafarers are improving and that 24/7 vital support is provided to those that might be struggling with their mental health or family issues whilst at sea.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help the support the good work that the Sailors’ Society does.

This will be my first marathon so it’s a little bit daunting but I hope to be well prepared come April 2025 and am super excited to be part of this great event especially raising money for such a worthy cause.
