My Story

On April 27th 2025, I will be running The London Marathon for KIDS, a charity very close to our hearts. 

When our son Remi turned 1, he started to regress. He no longer answered to his name, stopped saying words or attempting to talk completely & no longer made eye contact. This was the beginning of Remis Autism Journey. 

After trying to figure out how we could support Remi best, we came across KIDS - a life changing charity that provides a wide range of support to children and young people with special educational needs & disabilities, and their families. 

We had attempted to engage Remi in to mainstream toddler classes, which were just too much for him at the time. Once we were in contact with KIDS, we were able to attend a class suited to his needs, where there was no judgement and we were able to meet other parents in the same position. 

KIDS charity has supported us through some very tough times and given Remi a space he can truly be himself in which we will forever be thankful for. 

The care and time KIDS put in to their classes alone, is second to none. 

We know that Remi and our family may have a bit of a bumpy road ahead, but take comfort in the knowledge that KIDS is always there to help.
