My Story

In March 2024, we faced the heartbreaking loss of our beloved grandfather. He was a man whose unwavering dedication and hard work were the foundation of our family’s strength and success. Without his tireless support and many sacrifices, my family and I wouldn't be where we are today.

Our grandad’s journey was marked by incredible resilience. After many years of treatment, he became partially blind, and in his later years, he was declared fully blind. Despite these challenges, his spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to inspire us with his courage and determination.

In honor of his legacy, my sister, brother & I have decided to take on a significant challenge: running the 2025 TCS London Marathon. We are doing this in support of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), the UK's leading sight loss charity and the largest community of blind and partially sighted people.

This marathon will be a formidable challenge for us, but we are committed to completing it in memory of someone who will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Each step we take will be in honor of our grandad, and every donation we receive will support RNIB in their mission to make life better for those affected by sight loss.

Your support means the world to us. Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute to a fantastic cause and help countless individuals. Please join us in this endeavor and make a difference in the lives of those living with blindness and partial sight.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us honor our grandad’s incredible legacy.

I'm running the 2025 TCS London Marathon in aid of Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), the UK's leading sight loss charity and the largest community of blind and partially sighted people.

Everyday 250 people begin to lose their sight in the UK. RNIB's focus is to create a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss.

Please support me as I take on this huge challenge for RNIB!

Here's just some of the ways your donation could help:

- £50 could help someone coming to terms with sight loss by providing emotional support and practical guidance through our Sight Loss Advice Service, both on the telephone and online.

- £35 could help provide support and advice to a parent of a child with vision impairment, who has contacted RNIB for the first time.

- £25 could help produce a lively and interactive technology show on RNIB's Connect Radio, demonstrating how an app or device can help people with sight loss communicate easily with family and friends, or navigate their way around town.
