My Story
For Amelia đ„°
Before starting primary school Amelia was diagnosed with Autism. Although she had a care plan in place and the school were aware of her needs before starting Amelia didn't receive the support she needed at her mainstream school. Unfortunately although all parties soon agreed that Amelia needed specialist provision to support her needs - the local authority could not provide a suitable place for her. The past 2 years have been a constant battle to try and afford Amelia the support she needs all the while attending her school on a reduced timetable with inadequate support and specialist provision. The IPSEA team were so supportive through the appeals process and eventually we were able to find alternative provision for Amelia. She loves her new school and we can't thank IPSEA enough!
