My Story

I'm running the London Marathon for Freya

On the 27th April, I'll be taking on my first marathon in London. All 42km (or 26.2 miles) of it. But this isn't just for the challenge; it's about something that's on my mind every hour, of every day.

I'm running for my brave daughter, Freya, who is fighting a brain tumour.

Right now, Freya is receiving groundbreaking treatment - treatment that wouldn't exist without donations to causes just like this. The research and support made possible by charities like Brain Tumour Research have given families hope, and I want to make sure that more children and more families get that same chance.

But the fight isn't over. Freya, and so many other children like her, will need new treatments in the future.

No child should have to endure this. No family should have to watch their child fight this battle. That's why I'm raising money for Brain Tumour Research - an incredible organisation working to find a cure and support families like ours.

This journey is about more than just crossing the finish line - it's about making a real difference.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving children with brain tumours a fighting chance.

Thank you for your support.
