My Story

In March 2024 mine, and my amazing fiancé's lives were turned upside down when she was diagnosed with stage 3, triple negative breast cancer. Not only that but she was 5 months pregnant with our second daughter at the time.

I am running the 2025 London Marathon for her and to raise money to help others in our situation.

Doing chemotherapy whilst heavily pregnant is not something I can even comprehend however she handled it amazingly. All the nurses and staff who have helped us have been unbelievable and it really shows where all the raised money goes.

Thankfully our daughter, Grace, arrived safely in July and just 2 weeks later, Rosie resumed chemotherapy. So now we have a newborn, an 18 month old and we are navigating our way through all the appointments, drugs and extreme side effects of the chemo, whilst being sleep deprived!

Every week brings new challenges, both mentally and physically but we are both so grateful for all the support we receive.

I have always wanted to run the London Marathon but I suppose I have never had a good enough reason to, now I do. I will complete the marathon and with your help we will raise as much money as possible for breast cancer, to help as many people as possible.
