Welcome to my fundraising page !

As you all might know I will be running, walking and crawling  🥰🙌😃🥵the incredible London Marathon 2025 for a charity called Mencap and for our gorgeous Joanne !  Jo is my sister in law who is Mencap's service user and who will be celebrating her 50th bday just days before the Marathon !!!! Such a way to celebrate !!  ❤️🥰🎉🙌

Mencap is an organisation that support, help, value and put people with learning disabilities first, this helps make sure that all their needs are met.

The charity is very close to all our family as our gorgeous Jo has been a service user for many years.

Mencap help Jo to maintain a normal life and not only support the service users but their families & friends too. 

Please dig deep for this as people with learning disabilities deserve the best start in life and the best integrity in the community without the stigma !

Right now, people with a learning disability face inequalities in every area of life with almost 1 in 3 young people with a learning disability spending less than 1 hour outside their home on a typical Saturday.

They face barriers finding a job, accessing activities in their local community and receiving good quality healthcare. We tackle these issues head on by providing support in a way that meets individual needs and encourages greater independence.

We give expert advice and information that empowers people and their families. And we campaign relentlessly for changes that brings greater equality for people with a learning disability.

By supporting Team Mencap you will be helping us to support people with a learning disability to live the life they choose, and do the things they love.
