My Story
Hello, my name is Rhianne and I am excited to be running the TCS London Marathon 2025. I was lucky enough to be admitted via the ballot on my first attempt.
I will be running in the memory of my big cousin, Jack, who we sadly lost in Decemer 2016 just short of his 17th Birthday. We lost Jack in a tragic accident whilst he was doing something he loved - Fishing. Therefore, I will be raising money for Kent Search and Rescue. Kent Search and Rescue were on hand to assist with the search - for which, we were very grateful.
Kent Search and Rescue is a charitable organisation dedicated to assisting the emergency services in the search for and rescue of missing persons. Kent Search And Rescue is manned 100% by volunteers who are provided with extensive training and make themselves available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With annual operating costs of approximately £30,000 and running costs of up to £90,000, they need help to keep providing this life saving service to the community of Kent.
As somebody who does not enjoy running - this will be a huge challenge so I would love to see as many of you along the course as possible to cheer me on!
Thank you, Rhianne x
