My Story

For the past few years, I've been gearing up for a tough challenge to raise significant funds for a worthy cause. I've now committed to running the 2025 TCS London Marathon for Sightsavers!

Sightsavers have been changing lives for over 70 years. They work in more than 30 countries to train health workers, provide eye operations, support people with disabilities, improve women’s health, and more. Since they launched, they've provided 8.8 million cataract operations and distributed 1.6 billion treatments to prevent debilitating diseases.

This charity's work in Uganda and Pakistan is dear to me, having seen the need firsthand when I lived and visited there. As someone who has worn glasses from a young age, I understand the importance of vision. I'm honoured to help others restore sight, prevent sight loss and campaign for a world where everyone can participate equally in society.

Thank you in advance for any contributions to this cause that will make a massive difference.

  • £5 could treat or protect 27 people from the blinding infection trachoma - treatment is just 18p per person
  • £25 could screen a class of children for a range of eye conditions
  • £33 could pay for an adult cataract operation

Thank you so much for supporting me and I would really appreciate it if you could share my fundraiser with your networks!
