My Story

Hello everyone!

Yes, I'm running the London Marathon! Yes, I have lost my mind! And yes, I'm going to be dead at the end!

As some of you may know, in the past year I became a wholetime firefighter at Chlemsford fire station. It has been an amazing career move and I genuinely couldn't be happier. 

However, from starting my role with Essex Fire and Rescue Service I have learnt about the amazing work the Fire Fighters Charity do for fire fighters, both serving and retired, and their families all across the country. They have been working to support fire families when they formed during the Second World War and have continued to support people with their physical and mental health, social wellbeing, injury and recovery and retirement just to name a few aspects of their support framework.
