My Story

I'm excited to be running the London Marathon for the Music Man Project. I met them in 2021 and was just blown away by what they do. They use music to completely transform the lives of kids and adults with learning disabilities, and it's amazing to see how much the charity has grown and how happy music makes them and everyone they meet. The Music Man Project is all about giving everyone a chance to experience the magic of music and to shine, no matter what.

Let's be real, I'm a rubbish runner. This marathon is going to be proper tough. What keeps me motivated to train is exactly what the Music Man Project stands for. Their performers are so inspiring. They face challenges every day and just power through with so much dedication and enthusiasm. It's a real reminder of how important it is to keep going and stay positive, even when things are tough. I'm really proud to be supporting them and helping them bring music and joy to more people. Knowing that my (probably quite slow!) run will make a difference makes all the training, and the run itself, so much more special.
