My Story

This summer it will be 6 years since we lost my father Paul (to a heart attack) and my brother Matthew Rudy (to stomach cancer) which was the last time I ran a marathon.

After trying and failing many many times to get a London Marathon place, I now have the opportunity to run whilst supporting a cause which is close to my heart.

I will be running The London Marathon on 27th April 2025 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

British Heart Foundation's ambition is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases:

"Heart attacks that strike without warning, strokes that shatter futures, newborn babies born with broken hearts. These are just some of the cruelties of cardiovscaular disease. And the brutal reality is, there is so much more for science to discover before we can beat the world's biggest killers."

I would really appreciate your support on this journey, and thank you so much in advance for any donations.

Feel free to follow me on Strava to see how my training is going.

Thanks.

Seb

For anyone wanting to make donations in memory of  Matthew, I would also encourage donations to the No Stomach For Cancer Charity, however any donations made through this page will go directly to the British Heart Foundation.
