My Story

I am putting my legs and mind through the blender again and running the London marathon this year for Children with Cancer UK.

After everything Archie went through, and witnessing other children and families going through the nightmare of childhood cancer, this is a small thing to try and offer some help back now that Archie has finished treatment.

I was lucky to be able to complete my first marathon in April '24 for CWCUK. It was a painful but hugely rewarding experience, and now I'm back on that horse!

Please donate if you can. Every little helps fund vital research into more effective and less damaging treatment for children with cancer and provides help and support for children and their families going through unimaginably tough times.

My story:

My son Achie is an identical twin and fell ill with Neuroblastoma in 2018, being diagnosed on his 3rd birthday.

After 6 years of treatment, including medical trials, he is finally out the other side and enjoying life.

We have seen and been in a whole world we hadn't ever considered before.

Seeing children suffer and the parents helplessly muddling through with a brave face is not easy.

Charitable help is invaluable to families going through this situation, not only funding much needed research, but also providing anything from supplies for hospital to family days out to help bring some normality and happy memories amongst the chaos.

The Children with Cancer charity fund important research into the causes of childhood cancers and for better/more gentle treatment for children, with their funded work significantly improving the survival rate of children with cancer, along with initiatives to help the children and families in need.

We will be forever grateful for everyone who donated to help Archie on his medical trial to stop the cancer coming back, and to those charities that helped us and others in our situation.

These charities rely on fundraising events and donations to be able to fund important research and help families through the tough times, and we're hoping to help give back a little by destroying Dads body again! 😊

We were so happy to hit the target last year, and really appreciate every donation and everybodys support

Please support us as much as you can, to help other children and families going through it all
