My Story

Me and others involved with Shaftesbury are raising money in aid of this charity and every donation will help.

Individuals who live with special educational needs and disability’s deserve the best education and support available to them and to live life to the fullest, so I will be running the London Marathon in 2025 in support of these individuals and the charity.

Shaftesbury is a charity that’s committed to enabling people with disabilities to live the life they want to lead, Over 20% of the population are disabled and only 6% of adults with intellectual disabilities known to their local authority in England are in paid work, which is why me and others are taking on this challenge to spared the awareness needed to give the idividuals a chance to live the life they want to.

As said before, every and any donation will help, spreading awareness is just as important.

Through a wide range of disability care, special education, and rehabilitation services, the charity promotes inclusion and wellbeing for all. Together, we work to see people take part, contribute and be valued. We put the elements in place that all add up to connected lives.

Thank you for reading and supporting this great charity.

Love, Soph x
