My Story

Hi my names Spencer, I have had a 50% hearing loss in both ears since I was a young child so I am absolutely thrilled to be running the London Marathon for the National Deaf Children's Society. I know exactly the struggles for a child growing up with hearing loss and I want to raise as much money possible to aid support for children with hearing loss and their families! Bullied for being different and feeling alone and insecure, too many deaf children grow up isolated and lonely. They shouldnt feel excluded, instead championed for their disability. 

Every day should be an adventure with a chance to meet new friends and explore the world. But deaf children are missing out. 

With your support and donations, the National Deaf Children's Society can be there for every deaf child who needs us. Together we can overcome the barriers that hold deaf children back.
