My Story

Because I have sarcoidosis which has so far affected my lungs, spleen, skin, heart, salivary glands (I could go on)... and caused small fibre neuropathy (SFN) which causes constant pain, numbness, burning, buzzing, exhaustion - all to varying degrees some of which are truly unbearable and unpleasant, make me cry, take me to dark places. I may have to live with this forever and when I wake up each morning I don't know what hand I'll be dealt, or if it'll get better or worse in the future. 

One thing is for sure, I'm doing this bloody marathon come hell or high water... or more likely nausea-inducing, eye watering, stinking PAIN!

I've so got this! But I can't do it alone. I need your support more than ever. No-one knows enough about this rare autoimmune disease and I'm determined to make a difference for the next generation!
