My Story

I’m excited to be running my first London Marathon (although its not my first marathon rodeo) in support of Run Kids Run, a fantastic local charity making a real difference in London’s school communities.

As the CEO of Rakhana, a media agency, it's great to support an initiative that empowers children, strengthens communities, and enriches education.

Run Kids Run is a volunteer-led charity that connects primary schools with long-term corporate benefactors to raise vital funds for education. Since its inception, the charity has:

- Supported 44 schools across 7 London boroughs
- Engaged thousands of children and their families in fun runs
-Raised hundreds of thousands to support schools

What makes Run Kids Run special is its commitment to a 100% pass-through rate—all sponsorship funds raised go directly to the schools. Entirely run by volunteers, the initiative not only raises money but also brings communities together, promotes fitness, and inspires children to take an active role in supporting their schools.

The charity began in 2018 at Thornhill Primary School in Islington and has since grown into a movement that connects schools, families, and local businesses. By fostering these partnerships, Run Kids Run is creating lasting change in communities across London and beyond.

Running London Marathon for a charity rooted in the city feels especially meaningful, and I’m thrilled to support their mission to expand their reach to even more schools and communities.

Thanks for all your support.
