My Story

I am so excited to be taking part in the London Marathon and would love for you to support me in raising funds for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness. With an estimated 86,625 children in England with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, thousands of families must face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day-to-day basis. Rainbow Trust Family Support Workers provide a lifeline to these families and children.

Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed.

As some of you may know, my little sister has GMFCS Level V cerebral palsy. She is not able to walk on her own and requires extensive use of assistance and support. She teaches me to see things from a different perspective, with purpose and gratitude, and inspires me to be a better version of myself. Although it is a personal goal to run the London Marathon, I'm excited that every step I take will be helping to support an amazing organization that is lighting lives with hope for so many kids and their families.
