My Story

Having witnessed firsthand the rich diversity and unique challenges within Bedford's communities through my work in a local school, I've been deeply inspired by the transformative efforts of the Queen’s Park Community Organisation (QPCO).

This grassroots charity is dedicated to empowering individuals by bridging gaps between communities, schools, and organisations. Their impactful projects range from the "Back to Our Roots" initiative, which celebrates and integrates underrepresented cultures, to vital support services for domestic abuse survivors, providing essential resources and safe havens.

QPCO also fosters community resilience by assisting emerging voluntary groups, enabling them to become self-sufficient and influential within their communities.

Their commitment to youth empowerment is evident through programs that engage young people in educational and recreational activities, nurturing the next generation of community leaders.

This April, I'm lacing up my running shoes for the London Marathon in order to support QPCO's invaluable work.

Your generous donations can help sustain these programs and make a tangible difference in the lives of many. Let's champion a more inclusive and supportive community together!
